In the game’s final moments, it is revealed that the Guardian Angel is communicating through a satellite in the planet’s orbit … owned by the Hyperion Corporation. The Vault Hunters are able to kill The Destroyer, and the vault is resealed.
As it turns out, the Vault is a prison built by an ancient alien race to hold the monster, called The Destroyer. The Vault Hunters battle the Crimson Lance who eventually open the vault, only to be killed by the giant monster imprisoned within. They are in communication with the Guardian Angel, a mysterious woman helping the group collect the keys and open the Vault. You play as the Vault Hunters, one of four elite killers with different abilities who, as their name implies, are searching for the Vault. Aside from the bandits, the Atlas Corporation and their mercenary group the Crimson Lance are attempting to collect the alien keys and open the Vault for themselves. These employees slowly lost their minds, becoming the franchise’s iconic psychos. The Dahl Corporation was attempting to search for the Vault, only to suddenly give up and leave its employees stranded on the planet. You can also purchase better weapons and boosts from the shop, but these are quite expensive and having in mind that you can only get money in the game by flying through chips (which doesn’t happen too often), prepare for a long wait to be able to buy all the goodies Homerun In Berzerk Land has to offer.The planet of Pandora holds a legendary secret: A Vault supposedly filled with treasures and riches untold. Along the way you’ll meet various things that, if hit, will add some extra speed to the nerd, such as bees, cannons, huge robots and so on. You gain experience based on your performance at hitting poor Comeau and the ability to send him as far as possible. There are different “hitters” to choose from, each with different maximum stats – I would personally recommend to get the most powerful ones – which can be upgraded by gaining experience and leveling up.
In other words, Homerun In Berzerk Land is a Toss the Turtle-like game in which your only goal is to hit as hard and accurate as possible and collect as many goodies as possible along the way (and luck plays a major factor here). The game’s description says: “Welcome to Berzerk Land! It’s play ball time and the Berzerk Crew is ready to teach Comeau the nerd a good lesson!
